Shaft Driven 4WD TT-01 Chassis

XB cars employ the shaft driven 4WD TT-01 chassis with longitudinally-mounted motor. RC unit and battery load flat in the bathtub chassis for a low center of gravity and perfectly balanced frame. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension combines with front and rear sealed diff gearbox to ensure consistent handling and excellent cornering performance. Chassis structure is exactly the same as assembly kits, allowing you to make use of the full range of Tamiya option parts. Once you have polished your racing skills, test your ability in one of Tamiya's official races.

Instant XB Fun!

All you have to do is charge
Your XB RC car comes factory finished with chassis fully assembled, body fully painted and all stickers pre-applied. Set also includes a 2-channel trigger type transmitter, and 7.2V battery and battery . charger (sold separately in some countries) To start your XB car, all you have to do is install 8 R6/AA/UM3 batteries (sold separately) into the transmitter and connect a charged 7.2V battery pack to the chassis.

Keep your viewpoint slightly ahead of the car
To practice steering your R/C car, lay out an oval figure 8 course using small obstacles. You will notice that the car steers oppositely to the transmitter when the car runs toward you. Although difficult at first, if you images your self in the driver's seat and always keep your viewpoint slightly ahead of the car, you will get the hang of it in no time

Race up to 6 cars simultaneously
The XB series features changeable frequency bans (Crystals) allowing up to 6 cars to be raced simultaneously. Enjoy 1-on1 racing challenges, or invite more friends for large scale races.
