***Special Announcement***
Due to the flood of entries and great work, we have decided to split the entries. We will have a Winner for both R/C and Plastic Models categories.
We would like to thank everyone who entered and made this one hard competition to judge. We really had a difficult time and wanted to give everyone something for all their hard work, but knew someone had to win, so here they are! Congratulations, Your Friends at Tamiya America, Inc
Your Plastic Model Winner:

Mr. Ian Anderson of Ridgecrest, CA with 5yrs of Experience

Product#: A6M2 Type 21 Zero Fighter (C0116), Item # 61016

Why Ian chose this item: I am a WW II naval aviation history buff.  I had recently read LCDR Tom Blackburn's book "The Jolly Rogers" (a memoir of his experiences leading VF-17, a Navy Corsair squadron) and found the subject matter very interesting.  After building Tamiya's F4U-1A kit with VF-17 markings, I noted in a Osprey book on Zero Aces of the Imperial Japanese Navy that Japanese Ace pilot Tetsuzo Iwamoto had fought VF-17 over Rabaul in November 1943 while flying an A6M2, and that Tamiya's A6M2 kit contained Tetsu's markings, I decided to create "book-end" models by pairing his Zero with my VF-17 F4U-1A kit.  Like the Corsair, I decided to build the Zero out-of-the-box and focus on the paint finish and weathering - a real challenge on wartime Japanese fighters.

2nd place goes to:

Mr. Peter Johnson of San Marcos, CA with 50yrs of experience
Product#: 24238
Why Peter chose this item: What else is there to say other than sexy, powerful, rare, georgeous lines and sound. Everything a sports car should be. 'nuf said!

3rd place goes to:

Mr. Christopher Turbert of Guilford, CT with 5yrs of experience
Product#:  20045
Why Christopher chose this item: I am a hardcore Formula-1 fan, and I just had to add this beautiful kit to my collection.

Your Radio Control Winner:

Mr. Seth Tastad of  Laramie, WY with 20yrs of experience
Product#:58391
Why Seth chose this item: I Found myself lacking stock vehicles so I used that as an excuse to buy a couple Tamiya kits I've wanted to build for this contest, I Always wanted this buggy as a kid and now as a bigger kid its all I could have wished for. I Built the car by the book and my Cousin Jesse and I spent half a day jumping and running and adjusting and after about 400 pictures we chose this one which we felt best captured the Hotshot in action and interaction with its natural muddy environment.

2nd place goes to:

Mr. Ryan Overbye of Lakeville, MN with 15yrs experience
Product#: 58383
Why Ryan chose this item: It’s a VW! The attention to detail and overall “scale” look of the Tamiya kit.

3rd place goes to:

Mr. Brandon Eastman of Whittier, CA with 20yrs experience
Product#: 57101
Why Brandon chose this item: I chose the Porsche 934 for a few reasons. The original car was among top racers in the year I was born. Also, being #1 in a long line of beautiful Tamiya models, this new version is one I can drive and really have some fun with. The details are exquisite!
