Once again the Shizuoka Hobby Show is upon us, the internet is a buzz with talk about all the new and re-release product announcements. 2009 marks the 48 annual Shizuoka Hobby Show, as well as the 30th anniversary of the original release of the Buggy Champ (Rough Rider). Yes, it's coming back. Some thought it was not possible.
2009 also marks the release of our 4th CR-01, sporting 1973 Ford Bronco hard top. There are plenty of hop-ups for you Bronco fans to increase performance and style to your CR-01. You will also see we have **NEW** F-104 Formula-1 and M-05 Mini chassis' debuting in '09.
There are plenty of new items for every Tamiya fan. We mark 2009 with the release of our 300th 1/35 scale plastic model. (Yes, we have 300+ quality and detailed military miniatures in this scale).
2009 brings more, "New Releases" from Tamiya than any other manufacture in our industry. We're not slowing down, we're just getting our stride!
Tamiya's eye-catching booth will have numerous items on display, and the event is a great chance to get a close-up look at the new releases, as well as talk to the actual product designers. If you would like to express your opinions on future products or give us feedback on current products, we encourage you to come and visit us. In addition, there will be exciting R/C car demonstrations, Tamiya models, original goods, and limited-edition items which will all be available for purchase. With so much in store, this awesome event is not to be missed!
