Race Day: Field Limited to 20 teams (that's right, 20 Mini's running around the track for 6 hours)
Entry Fee: $20.00 per Team. Cash only, to be paid when drawing for starting positions.
Bring your own pit tables and AC power. Unfortunately Tamiya America will not be providing pit tables and AC power for this event.
Tamiya America track gates will open at 8am
Open practice 8:00am to 9:30am.
9:40am Drivers meeting, starting grid positions will be drawn during this time.
10:00am Race Starts and concludes 6 hours later.
Any Tamiya M-Chassis type: (M01, M02, M03, M04, and M05).
Tamiya Hop-Ups only.
No weight limit.
A proper mini body must be used with its proper mini chassis. I.E. (A front wheel drive body must be used with a front-drive chassis. A rear wheel drive body must be used with a rear wheel chassis)
Any Tamiya M-Chassis tire/wheel allowed. Must use equal size tires in all 4 corners.
Silver Can motors only, no RPM limit.
It is legal to use the maximum pinion gear size on all chassis types.
The use of LIPO batteries is permitted in this event, but due to the battery compartment having a rounded profile, only round profile LIPOs are legal, examples are the Orion/Peak 2400, 3200, and 3400 Carbon Edition hard cased packs. Modifying the chassis to fit other hard case LIPO batteries is not permitted.
Minimum of 3 drivers per team, no maximum driver limit, and no driver may run more than 2 consecutive battery packs.
Quick change systems allowed, but no quick change battery connectors allowed.
The car that starts the race must be the car that finishes the race; however any damaged part(s) may be changed.
Starting grid will be determined by draw.
Personal AMB transponder must be used. (No hand-out transponders will be provided) Should your transponder fail or fall out of the car, it is the team's responsibility to correct the problem.
