Rules
Any Tamiya M-Chassis type: M01, M02, M03, M04, M05 and M06. Note: Hybrid
cars or conversions are not allowed. This means you may not convert a FWD
based mini into a rear wheel mini and vice versa.
Tamiya Hop-Ups only.
Any Tamiya Mini body is legal.
No weight limit.
Any Tamiya M-chassis wheel and tire may be used for the race. Note: Your
car must use the same diameter tires on all four corners of the car.
Any Tamiya 540 silver can motor. Note: 2 and 4 slot Tamiya motors are
legal. No RPM limits.
Maximum 20T pinion gear for M01, M02, M03, M05, M06; maximum 21T pinion
gear for M04.
The use of LiPo batteries is legal. Note: M01-M02, M03, M04 and M05
chassis cars must used rounded profile LiPo battery packs. The M06 is the
only chassis that may use square packs.
Modifications to the battery compartment is not allowed.
Quick release home-made mods are not legal.
"Fixed in Place" battery terminals are not allowed. You must use a
battery plug of some kind such as a deans connector on the speed control and
the battery.
The car that starts the race must be the car that races the entire six
hours and it must be the car that finishes the race.
Damaged part(s) may be replaced at any time during the race in the pits.
The starting grid will be determined by one 15 minute IFMAR qualifying
session. The teams' total laps and time will be taken to determine the
starting grid, pit lane and drivers stand position.
A personal AMB transponder must be used. Should your transponder fall
out or fail it is up to the team to fix the issue.
Each team must have a minimum of 3 team members and no more than 5 team
members. No one team member is allowed to drive for more than two
consecutive battery packs.
Drivers in the event may not cross over to drive for other teams.
"Floating" is not allowed.
Each team is responsible for turn-marshalling their car.
A broken car must be fixed in the pits and re-enter the course from pit
lane.
Note: The Race Director of the event has the final say on the above rules
and its interpretation.
