Marukai Mini4WD Event 9/15/12
On Saturday afternoon, September 15th, 2012, many Tamiya Mini4WD fans of all ages braved the warm temperatures to participate in the Mini4WD races at the Marukai Pacific Store in Gardena, CA. The Tamiya America five lane circuit served as the course for the participants to modify their cars and determine who would be the fastest on the track. Two different race classes were running for the event. The Stock class featured the Tamiya cars with stock white end bell motors, and any Tamiya hop up part being permitted. The Modified class featured any modified Tamiya hop up motor to be used with a combination of any additional hop up parts. The racing in both classes was competitive and exciting. The podium finishers received a number of gifts and prizes, and all racers were able to join in on the raffle to win additional prizes after the race. Marukai also provided complementary snacks to all of the hungry racers. All in all, the participants were all smiles. The racers, their friends, and family members had a great time.
