These collections of 1/10 scale shaft-driven touring cars were introduced in the early 1990's. They were based on Tamiya's Manta Ray buggy. The TA-01 and TA-02 chassis were narrowed to accommodate realistic touring car bodies. This generation of vehicles set the standard for realistic and high performance touring cars that has been designed since.
