  1. Description

The 5th release on Tamiya"s cutting edge TA05 chassis is the ARTA NSX, the car that took
2nd place in both Driver and Team Rankings in the GT 500 Class of the 2005 Super GT. Body
is the familiar Honda NSX featuring day-glo orange coloring and realistic sponsor markings.
ARTA stands for Autobacs Racing Team Aguri, a team formed jointly by car parts firm Autobacs
and former F1 driver Aguri Suzuki in 1997. The ARTA sponsored Honda NSX first entered
Super GT (then called JGTC) in 2000, becoming an official Honda works team in 2005 under
the name Team Honda Racing. 2005 was a successful season for the ARTA NSX, with a
number of individual round victories including a stunning pole-to-finish at Round 7 Autopolis.
The team of Daisuke Ito and Ralf Firman won second in the Driver Ranking, while Team
Honda Racing took second in the Team Ranking.
