The 1990 F1 Champion
This is a ready to assemble electric powered R/C model of the McLaren MP4/5B Honda, which was driven by Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger in 1990, with the former winning the drivers' championship to help McLaren take the constructors' title. The polycarbonate body realistically recreates the MP4/6's sharp form and is mounted on the direct drive 2WD F104W chassis. A sticker sheet to depict the livery of the No.28 car driven by Gerhard Berger and separately-molded parts for the front/rear wings and driver helmet are included. The direct drive 2WD F104W chassis comes equipped with sponge tires to offer sharp handling.
Direct Drive F104W Chassis
The F104W chassis features a longitudinal battery layout which allows for a slim chassis design. Chassis features a double deck layout with 2.0mm upper and 3.2mm lower FRP decks. F103 front suspension arms are incorporated to accurately replicate the wide body dimensions of this machine. Front independent kingpin/coil spring suspension as well as rear 3-point suspension with friction plate and coil spring offers sharp handling performance. Direct drive 2WD transmits motor power directly to the spur gear. which is equipped with a ball differential.
