Description
This is the Agrios 4x4x4 Monster truck. The truck body sits on the Tamiya TXT-2 chassis which is an evolution of the original TXT-1. Agrios, a mythical Greek giant, gives his name to this tough monster truck, which can go over obstacles and rough terrain with ease. The combined use of metal parts with tough plastic lends the model a genuine feeling of power and scale. The truck comes equipped with two 540-brushed motors and is capable of 4-wheel steering when a second servo is added to the rear axle.
The heavy-duty twin motor TXT-2 Chassis
This shaft-driven 4WD machine's power comes from the parallel-positioned twin motors in the center of the car and is transferred to the front and rear axles via propeller shaft. Front and rear axle cases contain 3-bevel differential gears and have a 2-level transmission. The chassis is equipped with 4-link rigid suspension, each wheel having dual oil dampers. All link rods are made using resistant aluminum, giving the strength to support the heavy-duty frame. Massive 151mm diameter, 82mm width tires are mounted on metal-plated deep rim wheels and are combined with the suspension to handle even the worst of off-road surfaces.
• Black resin-covered aluminum shaft side-frames are fitted with black aluminum panels.
