Ferrari F1-2000

  1. Description

Tamiya presents a "Full-View" version of the Ferrari F1-2000. Additional semitransparent red body is supplied to the original version. All detailed mechanisms of V-10 cylinder (Type 49) engine can be viewed through the semi-transparent cowling.

Among the numerous F1 machines competing at the 2000 F1 season, Ferrari adopted the highest nose position. The characteristic form of this great machine, such as arrow-shaped front wing, as well as the small and low-mounted side pontoons are realistically replicated in this model. With the semi-transparent body, the machine's spectacular cutting-edge F1 mechanics are revealed.

The powerful 3000cc V-10 engine with upper exhaust system and the elaborate gearbox can be observed with cowling on. After assembly one can note the extremely tight space between the machine's internal mechanics and cowling for a better appreciation of the word 'streamlined'.

Kit comes with both semi-transparent (pink-ish shade) and original solid red body. You can select the standard version as shown in the pictures below.
