Yamaha Motocrosser Yz250

  1. Description

This is a 1/6 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Yamaha Motocrosser YZ250. It was originally released in 1976 and it is again available for motocross modeling enthusiasts. The model kit is a replica of Yamaha's works machine that won the 250cc class in the Motocross World Championship in 1973. It was equipped with a 246cc 2-stroke, single-cylinder engine capable of 32.5ps mounted in a double cradle frame and featured aluminum wheel rims as well as an aluminum fuel tank to result in a lightweight design. The following year the bike incorporated a monocross rear suspension to greatly increase its handling and stability on the track.
