1/48 M20 Armored Utility Car

  1. Description

A derivative of the U.S. M8 Light Armored Car Greyhound, the U.S. M20 Armored Utility
Car rolled onto the battlefield in 1943. Between 1943 and 1945, approximately 3,791 units
were manufactured. The M20 could carry four passengers and was mainly deployed to the
Tank Destroyer Unit. It was powered by an 110hp gasoline Hercules engine, where its top
speed of about 90km/h was taken advantage of in command, cargo, and reconnaissance
duties. The rotating turret of the M8 was removed, allowing space for passenger seats, a
commanders table, radio sets and a ring mounted M2 heavy machine gun. Furthermore,
the M20 also came equipped with a M9A1 bazooka as well as M1 Carbines.

  2. Comes with different car numberings and markings from the assembly kit version (Item
    32556).
  3. You are able to display your model the way it is how it comes from its cube shaped box.
  4. Decals and high quality pad printed markings have a lifelike weathered appearance.
  5. Special spin-cast parts add to the feeling of weight to the M20 Armored Utility Car.
