Rc Citroen Xsara Wrc 2004
-
Description
Helping Citron take out the 2003 Manufacturers title, the Citron Xsara now makes its way to our 1/10 scale TT-01 chassis line-up. With accurately reproduced rearview mirrors, rear spoiler, and polycarbonate body shell, kit features markings for the 2004 Monte Carlo Rally. The high performance, easy to assemble 4WD shaft-driven TT-01 chassis will make you feel like a real WRC driver.
With Citron taking out the 2003 Manufacturers Championship and Sebastien Loeb finishing
second in the Drivers Championship, expectations were high for the Citron Xsara in Monte
Carlo, the first race of the 2004 season. One of the most difficult races on the WRC circuit,
race conditions for 2004 were tougher than usual with a mixture of snow, ice and dry tracks.
Sporting the French tricolors of red, white and blue, Loeb steered his Citron Xsara to
perfection leading from the beginning to take out his second consecutive victory at Monte
Carlo. Loeb has followed up this impressive start with subsequent victories in Sweden, Cyprus
and Turkey to lead the Drivers Championship and send Citron to the top of the Manufacturers
Championship.
The TT-01 has loads of compatible option parts (sold separately) to enhance driving and racing performance. This excellent combination of an easy to assemble chassis with loads of option parts means you can adapt the chassis to suit your growing racing experience and R/C knowledge.
