Description
This is a model kit of the Nissan R89C, which raced on the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1989. The full size car, which is faithfully reproduced in 1/24 scale was powered by a 3,496cc V8 DOHC turbocharged engine capable of 800hp. The aerodynamic body shape reduced drag and provided smooth airflow to the oil cooler and turbo intercooler. The R89C demonstrated superb performance but all three were ultimately forced to retire during the course of the 1989 24 Hours of Le Mans.
