Rc Rtr Calsonic Impul Z

  1. Description

The 2004 Japan GT Championship (JGTC) Calsonic Impul Z is now ready-to-run straight out of the box as the latest release in our impressive XB series. The sleek bodyline of the racing Nissan Z has been accurately reproduced with a polycarbonate body shell. Body shell comes fully painted in trademark Calsonic blue with stickers all pre-applied. The fully assembled chassis is Tamiya"s reliable and easy to use TT-01, featuring 4WD drive train, 4-wheel independent suspension and electronic speed controller. Set includes Expec SP TTU-03 transmitter.
The TT-01 chassis features a shaft-driven 4WD transmission for a reliable and efficient drive system. Motor, R/C system and battery are longitudinally mounted flat in bathtub chassis for greater stability and a lower center of gravity. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and sealed gearboxes with differential gears provide excellent handling and smooth cornering. Overall the TT-01 chassis is easy to control and maintain, making it the perfect chassis for first-time racers.

    • Tamiya 7.2V Racing Battery Pack or equivalent and compatible charger
    • Eight R6/AA/UM3 batteries for transmitter.

    Following its release on the
    TB-02 chassis, the 2004
    Calsonic Impul Z now makes
its way to the XB series.
    Ready-to-run straight out of
    the box, the XB Calsonic
    Impul Z comes fully
    assembled, pre-painted and
    all stickers pre-applied.
    Comes on the standard XB
    touring car chassis, TT-01.
The JGTC goes international in 2004. In addition to the regular Sepang race which was held
in Malaysia in June, two special Allstar Races will also be held in China and the US in 2004.
Leading the charge overseas is one of Japans most recognized touring car teams, Team
Impul, having had their distinctive blue design dominate the Japanese touring car scene for
more than a decade. Replacing the Skyline GT-R with the Nissan Z in 2004, the 2004 Impul
machine features a powerful 3-litre V6 twin-turbo engine, improved chassis design, a lower
center of gravity, wider tread, more solid body and better front/rear weight distribution. With
French driver B. Treluyer and Y. Ide at the helm, expectations are high for the Impul Z in the
later half of the 2004 season.
